Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread

In my transferred Franchise (which is awesome they did this), Kipnis hit a hard grounder to Alexi Casilla. Casilla went down to a knee to stop it. The ball took a bad hop and hit Casilla in the chest. He picked it up and fired to first for the out. It looked so realistic. The knew going to a knee animation is legit.

I'm playing a game Astros vs. Rays.

Evan Longoria is at the plate and he drives a ball into the left field short porch at Minute Maid, and the ball is ever-so-close to the foul pole. Umpires have a conference and animatedly discuss the play. They then go to replay, which shows that the ball indeed hooked foul. Ump waves off the home run and the at-bat resumes.

AMAZING.

I was playing Franchise last night and ran across the same sort of experience within 6 outs of each other. The first time was Hanley Ramirez hitting a ball to deep short and getting out at first. I was immediately prompted to challenge or ignore. I challenged and won the challenge
The next half inning the exact same thing happened to me, but on the defensive side. The runner was safe, I challenged and lost it!

Definitely a cool addition!

Has anyone seen Rodney do this?

I have saved two games with him and not seen him do it yet.

Anyways, Petco Park, 9th inning, they added the bells tolling after every out and the end of the game.

Re: MLB 15: The Little Things Thread

When hitting with broadcast cam, if you know the finger placement for the different type of pitches, you can guess the type of pitch coming up next depending on the pitcher and how well the he hides his hands before delivering the ball. Just like irl, with batters and base runners picking up on different ques from the pitcher.

Chris Archer, I was able to read all his pitchers from both the stretch and the windup. He does not do a good job at all of hiding his pitches. Mat Latos, I was only able to read his pitches when he threw from the stretch. David Phelps has such a quirky starting motion that I couldn't read his pitch from the stretch or windup.
