Who carried over their franchise?

Just curious as to how many fellow Show Goers carried over an existing franchise from '14 into '15?

I debated due to the idea of not being able to turn off GM Contracts during Y2Y saves, but ultimately decided to go with my existing franchise as I played last year with the intention of carrying over (developing young talent and not just signing top FA's) Plus I have a World Series to defend as I beat the Rays last year to win the World Series.

I have been playing ST games with my old club and love what I have:

C - Yadier Molina
1B - Matt Adams
2B - Allen Craig
SS - Johnny Peralta
3B - Matt Carpenter
LF - Matt Holiday
CF - Brett Gardner
RF - Stephen Piscotty

SP - Adam Wainwright
SP - Michael Wacha
SP - Joe Kelly
SP - Shelby Miller
SP - Jaime Garcia

I have Jason Motte in the bullpen plus a game named Dominic Leone that I got out of the Rule 5 draft last year that was key to are Championship run.

Love this feature. Wish I could turn of GM Contracts (crosses fingers it gets patched somehow) but I can't turn my back on the club I built.

So anyone else carried over their franchise?

Re: Who carried over their franchise?

LOVE Leone! Here's what my 2016 Cubs look like:

C - Yan Gomes
1B - Rizzo
2B - Baez / Dee Gordon
SS - Castro / Chris Taylor
3B - Bryant
LF - Joc Peterson
CF - Peter Bourjos
RF - Giancarlo Stanton / Soler

SP - Julio Teheran
SP - Drew Hutchison
SP - Tony Cingrani
SP - Henry Owens
SP - Travis Wood

Leone, Cody Allen, Paco Rodriguez, Carlos Martinez, Mike Dunn, and a Rule 5 pick Nick Wittgren leading the league in saves.

Had to give up a 99 potential SP and a couple other solid guys in the 70's and 80's to land Stanton. Currently tied for the second wild card spot with a month left.

Re: Who carried over their franchise?

Sweet!

I'm in 2016 as well. Bad news for your Cubs is they traded Bryant to get Marcus Stroman from the Blue Jays last year in my franchise

Re: Who carried over their franchise?

I ported mine over. I started a new season about a month ago with the expectation that I would port it over while waiting for the 2015 OSFM rosters. I had 1 house rule: I could only trade for players on the trading block. My Jays team looks like this:

c - Dioner Navarro
1B - Edwin Encarnacion
2B - Dee Gordon
3B - Brett Lawrie
SS - Jose Reyes
LF - Melky Cabrera
CF - Anthony Gose
RF - Jose Bautista
DH - Carlos Santana

SP - Cole Hamels
SP - Hyun-Jin Ryu
SP - Marcus Stroman
SP - Mark Buehrle
SP - Shelby Miller

I also have Chris Archer in the bullpen and Danny Salazar at AAA. My first game will be against the Red Sox at Fenway Park!

Re: Who carried over their franchise?

importing my phillies. I'm actually going to see all of my prospects hit the show in a game now that I can go further.
Jp Crawford
Mookie Betts
Mark Trumbo
Neftali Soto
Makiel Franco
Ben Revere
Cord Sandberg
Pete Ibanez.
Yeah I torally blew the Phillies up but Betts and Trumbo have been amazing And now after extended minor league stays Franco and Sandberg are in the running for rookie of the year.

Jesse Biddle
Tony Cingriani
Yordano Ventura
Aaron Nola
Miguel Alfredo Gonzales

At least they are young?

Re: Who carried over their franchise?

I pulled mine over but not sure if i will continue it since Josh Johnson and Cory Luebke got yanked from the game. They were beasts and keys in my rotation.
