Issue with roster movement

Had something weird happen tonight, I'm doing a franchise mode just killing time until rosters are done. Anyway decided to test trade block feature and threw Jaime Garcia on to see what he would fetch, the Mets offered Jenrry Mejia so I decided to pull the trigger.

Anyway upon doing so his picture is no longer in the game, he's now a generic minor league looking player. Same happened with the reliever I sent to AAA Seth Maness, in Memphis his picture is gone just a create a player looking display, when I promote him back to St. Louis his picture comes back.

Anyone else have anything similar happen?

Its not a glitch, when you trade a player, their photo changes to match the team they are on so their hat matches the team they are on.

When I did my Angels franchise the player pictures were real and when I did my fantasy franchise the player pictures were not real. They still looked like the players they were simply computer generated, not photographs.

I think it has something to do with players being on the wrong team.

Thats by design and has been since '13.

Had no idea, makes sense and just tried moving Marco Gozales from AAA to MLB and he has real photo now, thanks guys thought something was wrong.

Gotcha, this is my first year back since 12 so I'm behind the times
