I use auto fielding and auto throw decision. I just prefer to let the ratings dictate the result of balls hit into play than my own user input. I do use manual baserunning though.

Feels like most people who play this game complain about not being able to do something any longer. Is like most here are old as dirt
How old is dirt?

In my defense I am also playing Bloodborne at the moment and will be starting GTA V on the PC tonight so I am not that ancient yet.

i use auto fielding, manual throwing. it's the only way i can play the game without the blue circle indicating the player with the ball. i'm a try to play like i see it on real tv guy, so this fits in well with my clean screen OCD nature. just waiting and hoping on a patch to get rid of the def. positioning notification that pops up every at bat it seems

Can't say that I've ever used Auto Fielding.

Auto fielding all the time.

I'm surprised at how many use auto-fielding. I don't think I could ever use it, I have too much fun fielding and having control over the game. It's a very satisfying feeling making a diving stop and throwing a runner out. I feel like i'm cheating enough just by using timing hitting and not zone.

I wish they'd have a fielding option with no assists. I don't want my player to get a running start before I take control of him and I don't want suction cups taking over when I get to a fly ball. They make fielding too easy and thus not nearly as engaging/fun as it should be. It's no wonder why over half of players play on auto fielding.

1. Don't pre run for my fielder
2. Zero suction cups for fly balls
3. Make fly ball marker smaller and more engaging to make plays

Regardless of how you play, the great thing is that we have options to play the game however we see fit. To me, that's all that really matters.
