Can you hit the catwalks at Tropicana Field?

i think i hit the catwalk with encarnacion once in 14, havent played a game in tropicana yet in 15. But i cant remember if the ball just dropped or it went through it.

I could just be misremembering but i thought i seen an animation one time when the ball hit tthe catwalk, i am probably wrong though. Ok i think im wrong, But read a good idea, play offline hr derby at the trop and line the batters up and swing for the catwalks
