Non-chalant animations

I posted the same thread last year about this last year, and it remains a big issue in this game. Granted, it is better in a lot of areas but it is still terrible in some.

If for example you want to throw from first to third, even if you preload a throw, the first baseman will still act as if nothing is going on and then for lack of a better term, jump, into the throwing animation.

Tagging runners is the same. The tag is never fluid. It is always catch, wait, tag. The ball beating the runner is meaningless because the tag never has any urgency. Every tag looks like the obligatory tag on bogus pickoff attempts.

The new catcher animations are as bad as the old ones, but just in the other direction. Now instead of being superhuman in getting out of the crouch, the catcher will just...not move for the ball.

Unrelated note, a pitcher should no be able to outrun base stealers to first, after taking a 100+mph ball to the foot.

Re: Non-chalant animations

There are literally a half dozen/dozen threads talking about all of these topics.
