Do September call-ups work?

I just got to September and simmed the first two days, so I'm on Sep. 2. I tried to callup some guys off my 40 man, but it says i have 30 out of 25 guys on my active roster and I have to send down 5. Does the show allow them?

I believe one of your minor league teams needs to be out of the playoffs in order for your rosters to expand.

At least that's what I think has to happen. Roster do expand eventually, though.

You have to wait until the minor league season is complete....I think it's the 8th....unless your team(minor) is in the playoffs.....then it's until they are eliminated or win it.

Yeah they should make the MLB rosters expand to 40 on the 1st like in real life. There are enough players to have 40 on the MLB and 25 in AA and AAA.
