Re: Quick Throw?

I find throws from the outfield can sometimes be troublesome. Way too many players score from 2nd base on a flyout because the Ofer lobs the throw in.

Preload is the key along with cutoff throws but when I try to mimic the throws the CPU does I never get the performance they do.

Very true, but pre-loading always helps.

I know that you already know that, I'm just trying to re-enforce the message.

I understand. I admittedly am horrible on these plays though. I wish there was a detailed tutorial on it. I've seen a few video's but they really don't get down to nuances of how you execute commands from your controller to be expert at it.

Just keep trying I guess.

Thanks for replying back.

always get behind the fly ball so ur OFer can get a crow hop throw in....ive never had that problem but that is why...and yes, hit your CUT OFF!

I have actually executed this before but need to do a better job getting in position. I'll focus more on this. Thanks.

Previous versions of the game had a quick throw where you could depress L2.

I just broke down and bought a PS4 - I like the classic modes where the meter appears where the faster you start the meter the faster the player responds. I think this is somewhat glitchy because I have some plays where pitchers just stand there with the ball then throw to 1st allowing the runner to beat it out. The PS4 is a lot faster than the PS3 version.

I'm rambling now but thanks for your input. It is appreciated.
