when trying to rebuild a bullpen? do you base it on the overall of the players of the bullpen or try to build it around certain stats of the pitchers? maybe based on your teams home park?

im curious as i seem to always have trouble trying to perfect a bullpen in rebuild.

I just throw spaghetti at a wall and see what sticks.

Seriously, when I go about building my bullpen, it's all trial by fire.

I try to find some fire ballers who have a decent K/9 stat. I like to go with hard throwers. And I always look for atleast one really good lefty too

I look for good control pitchers.....with low BB/9 and H/9 numbers.(I play manage mode).
But I also look for pitchers who are pitching well in season when making a trade....they seem to be hot and pitch well for me.

I like to go with match ups, so I try to have one right and one lefty for long relief, middle, and setup. I guess I just look at overall rating, but I prefer high K/9.

When I rebuild a bullpen, I usually go for a very high K/9 rate.

I look for pitchers with control. Nothing more frustrating than bringing in a reliever to put out a fire and have him not be able to throw strikes.
