Which roster for Franchise?

Haven't played The Show in a few years. Just wondering which roster is better for Franchsie Mode, the regular MLB The Show Roster or the OSFM Roster? Are there any pros and cons to either and any significant differences? Also can you start a franchise with The Show's updated roster or does it always have to be their day one roster?

Lastly, about Road to the Show. When you start this mode, is there any Single A teams or does it start right at Double AA? I want to start in Single A first but read it just goes AA-AAA-Majors.

OSFM by far. There is only one advantage to starting w/ The Show's, and that is you don't have to wait a month to start your franchise. I'm assuming yours hasn't started yet, and the OSFM should (just a guess) be out in no less than a week.

You can start a franchise w/ any roster you want, including any updates The Show puts out, or a custom one of your liking.

I used the default rosters that came with the game. Created my own prospects and went about my way.

I think you should use whichever roster gives you what you're looking for.

Do you want the most up to date rosters? Then use SCEA roster that just came out.

Want all the minor league players? Wait for the OSFM

Does OSFM edit player ratings at all and will it effect the game at all?

The first version probably (Like 100% probably)won't change SCEA MLB player ratings,
but there might be a hybrid version down the line that will.

I must of downloaded the hybrid version a few years ago then.. wasn't a fan of all the rating changes.

I like the opening day SCEA live roster which happens to be the current live roster.
