40-man rosters in franchise mode/spring training Q

With the release of the OSFM rosters yesterday (amazing work, everyone!) I finally started up my franchise this year. I noticed in my first spring training game that every team only has 25 men on their 40 man rosters right now.

So while the first spring game I played had realistic substitutions (starters out after the 3rd, etc.) teams were handicuffed by their own lack of depth. I went ahead and filled out my own team's 40 man after the game but I'm wondering...

will other teams slowly add players to their 40 man throughout spring training, or is this something that won't correct itself until the regular season starts or next offseason or whatever?

CPU will not add anyone to the 40 man in Spring Training unless there are injuries. They will add guys throughout the season and into next off-season, so it should be better next ST

If you are interested in playing spring training with 40 man rosters one is currently being put together based off of OSFM corrections. There's a thread for it in the roster forum.

I went through the trouble of filling in every team's 40 man roster before I started the franchise. I noticed the CPU completely changed it around come start of the regular season.

A lot of people think this is a "glitch" but it is completely normal.

In Spring Training, all teams have their ENTIRE 40 man roster available to use. At the end of Spring, rosters must be cut down to 25 man rosters. The CPU does this automatically (even if you have everything set to manual in your profile(s)). This is why the rosters get changed around come the regular season.

The ONLY way around this, is to send down (option to the minors) players until the team has just 25 men on the active roster. Then, the lineups and rotations should remain intact.
