Has anyone claim a major league player? I've gotten minor leaguers off waivers but everytime I try to even get a bench player, the CPU pulls them back. For example, In my Red Sox franchise, I tried claiming Ryan Howard(68 overall hitting .241 with 17 home runs) as a 25th man pitch hitter for the playoff run. He wasn't even starting for Philly and had 30 PA in the past month but they kept him

I believe that's how it works in August in MLB and I could be wrong but teams will put a player on waivers. If a team claims him the team will pull him back and the two teams talk trade.
