New Blue umpire uniforms for 2016!

The umpires have been wearing a new blue and also a black shirt all season that's not in MLB The Show 16.

Also the jackets they wear when its cold or rainy does not have blue strips on the shoulders any more. They are just all black now.

If the umps are doing their job right , they could be nekkid and I wouldnt notice them . But if Sony can put sunflower seeds on the dugout floor then maybe Show 17 will have a new wrinkle or two in the ump uni's .

So going by the videos so far it looks like Sony did not get around to updating the umpires outfits.

I guess they had so much to do this year they ran out of time for that hopefully they can update them for 18.

The updated them somewhat. There are now numbers on their right sleeves. I don't think they were in in '16. Perhaps they will finish updating before release. Frankly, I would rather they fix the consistency of the umpire personalities first. The personalities concept is great but I have not seen the umps consistently ump as described by the broadcasters in the game. If the broadcaster says x umpire consistently calls a high strike, I should get the high strike call as a pitcher most of the time. Unfortunately, that is not well implemented in the game.
