Considering they sell what like 900k units a year. I'd say thousands is accurate.

If we're conservative (or generous depending on one's POV) and guesstimate 5000 out of 900k, that's still only around one half of one percent. We need to get those multi-seasons complete so SCE will see it as worth their while. I dont know what kind of numbers we're looking at here though. Couple hundred thousand out of 900k unit purchasers?

with all due respect, your logic is preposterous!

Basically saying that a Baseball game's franchise mode should not include historical stats, scores, league data because you dont think people are finishing more than a season or 2 is foolish.

...And if we all used that very same logic, then, quite frankly, there is no reason to actually have a franchise mode either. And I think most would agree to how silly that notion is.

I will say this again, Baseball, above all other sports, is all about stats and data. So tracking accumulated data, stats, and history of each season somewhere in your Franchise mode would be a very welcomed and EXPECTED feature of a baseball video game

At least it would be for me....Without it, Franchise Mode doesnt really feel fully engrossing and complete. I would much rather the developers spend the additional resources there rather than ensuring Jacob DeGrom's mullet naturally blows in the wind correctly at each ballpark

I'm sorry but you are 100% incorrect. NBA2k and Madden have a MUCH deeper historic stat tracker. Top performers for game, season and career and I think it's like top 20 right now for Madden. 2K is worlds away and should be the standard for all other sports titles. Not to mention each player card includes player accomplishments. Individual team records are also in 2K. So no, you are wrong.
