In offline franchise can I put older players on my roster without doing any of the diamond dynasty stuff? Thanks!

There is only a certian number of legends avaiable in offline franchise mode.

When you setup your Franchise/Season, be sure and choose to allow Free Agent Legends. They will then be in your FA pool.

Or, if you do a draft, you can have them in the draft to pick.
