It does say in the Boost Mode description to turn it off if there are any irregularities in games you play.

I haven't had any issues since boost mode was introduced in 4.50, Last night I had some weird hitches in RTTS, and I turned off boost mode and restarted the Pro. Gameplay seemed smoother after that but it could be placebo.

Personally, I am just gonna turn it off when I play The Show. It is so easy to turn off and on, takes 4 seconds, no harm in turning it off for a Pro Mode game. Probably no harm in leaving it on either.

I'll probably just shut it off tonight. I don't see playing any games not getting the pro treatment moving forward anyways. Thanks for the info.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro

Looking through the recent posts I don't see my set so I thought I would add to the chatter...

I have an LG OLED65B6P, and have gotten great results on my PS4 Pro. I'm using the latest LG firmware which introduced the new "Game" mode. I've finally settled on "Enhanced Visuals" with HDR Mode On which seems to be the sweet spot for me. I may try sliding the HDR slider up a bit, but right now everything looks great.

Anyone else using this TV?

I have the OLED65C6P...slight curve but otherwise same set. Excellent picture! Love it!

I have the Sony z9d and this game is amazing to look at in full HDR slider. Also playing in enhanced because the visuals look similar to 4k but way smoother.

Best looking sports game by far (nba 2k17 second).

I can't help but feel whomever is getting washed out picture has a wrong setting somewhere on their TV or ps4 pro, or have hardware spec issues.

I think this is a hard thing to gauge since picture quality is very subjective. The same set and settings may look great for some people but for others, the same set and settings may look washed out or dull.

I game on the Sony 43 X800D set with HDR on and enhanced visual mode and the intensity slider halfway up and I think the picture looks great. Others may disagree, but to me, it looks and plays great. Skin tones and colors look spot on to me. If the picture looks great to you, id just go with it and ignore what others have and try not to find the one best setting out there.

This reminds me of the term we like to use here for constant slider tweaking.."slideritis" Just find what you like and enjoy the game. Not going to lie, reading this thread has gotten me self conscious of my settings but will just stick with what I have since, to me, they produce the best picture.

MLB 17 is the best iteration SDS has created to date!!

All opinion but the NBA visuals are tough to beat & I'll be shocked if MLB looks better.

What's your picture settings? Interested to see yours with slider halfway up. Got mine 1/4 way up. Same tv as you. And yes, this tv does make this game look so good.
