Cool. I'll try it again. Thanks for your help. I do have another question maybe you or anyone else can answer. If I download a roster from 1998 and another one from 1986 is there any way to make teams from those separate rosters play each other in play now? Like if I wanted to match the 86' Mets vs the 98' Yankees. Otherwise, I think it's kind of silly that we could have all these classic teams to download but never be able to match them up against each other.

Don't think that is possible.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Q&A

I'd like to think I understand a lot of the advanced metrics in baseball but one is giving me fits and it's for only one player. So I've got Mitch Haniger who went into my last game with a 0.2 WAR. In that game Haniger goes 1/4 with a double, 2 RBI's and a K, this resulted in his WAR dropping 4 points to -0.2, that can't be right can it? I don't see how him producing that stat line would result in a negative drop to that level, especially considering he didn't have a high WAR going into the game. For comparison purposes Dee Gordon went into that same game with a 4.2 WAR and went 0/4 with 2 K's and his dropped 4.1 or only 0.1 lower. Now when comparing the two this makes zero sense, I am either ignorant to how this works or how the game calculates it as I would believe Gordon's stat line would result in a deeper decline especially considering he has more to work with in regards to where his WAR was previously. Am I not understanding how this works?

Noob question, but I just had the draft. I found where to sign players--but where "do they go" once signed? Can I not use them until 2nd season? If I recall correctly, I could only sign for 1 season anyway?

Help!

They will be added to your roster in the offseason.

Is there a way to turn off strike zone? I play in a online franchise where the strike zone setting is turned on but I can't find a way to turn it off for my profile. I hope it's not a universal thing.

It's an eye sore I already know the strike zone

Yes you can. I wanna say it's under the batting settings, but I haven't played in awhile haha.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Q&A

I've been asking this question for the last three years and for the love of God I hope I can get an answer:
How can I make my custom strike zone stay where I want it for each batter? I go to custom cam in-game and it will stay where I want it for that at-bat, but it changes the next time around. It's either off center or too far right or left (depending on the handedness of the batter). It's frustrating and time consuming to have to do this with every batter. Please help
