Re: MLB The Show 17 Q&A

So I have been trying to complete the opening day time limited mission where you need to get 20 hits against the CPU in DD. I played 2 games and did it but low and behold, I had to click on the mission first to start it. So I then click on it and play a game where I had 8 home runs with 16 hits and was a walk away with Griffey Jr to complete his opening day stats mission when the game decides to crash on me in the bottom of the 7th inning That dumb blue Playstation screen pops up and says an error occurred.

Has anyone else experienced this glitch? I have now tried 3 times and failed to complete this timed mission. Granted, it was my fault for not starting the mission but this last game was all on SDS. I obviously did not get any hits counted towards the 20 and it still sits on 0/20. So freaking frustrating

That's what I do.

Once there are 2 strikes, I go to the contact swing...until then, I'm sitting on a particular pitch and specific zone, ready to pounce.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I know it's hard to tell but does anyone else have a large shadow around the bat and the batters hand especially in night games. It looks as if they have light saber. This also could just be my eyes

In the offseason are you able to hire position coaches to be managers from other teams? In past years you had to wait for them to become free agents. But can you hire them right off their current teams?

Yes I do. It almost looks like a light halo around everything.

Yes exactly. It's not a huge deal but it's annoying for sure

Re: MLB The Show 17 Q&A

Quick question: Is there anywhere inside Franchise mode we can view the matchup stats? Quintana vs. Cabrera for example. I know they are seen in OSDs and commentary, but if the game has the data, I would expect they could be viewed outside of playing a game.

I'm assuming not because I have looked and can't find anything. But figured I would ask in case anyone had more information on this. Thanks.

There is not. I looked for this myself.
