    Your White Whale

I have played this series for a very long time. I have accomplished many milestones as far as goals (World Series, player accomplishments etc.) I wanted to achieve in the game. There is one that always seems to escape me just when I think I am going to accomplish it and that is the perfect game. I came so close once again only to have it escape me in the end (9th inning hit).

So I will continue on my journey to capture it in the future but what has been your "white whale" in the show?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I have never thrown a no hitter or a perfect game.

I think I might shed a little tear if I did.

If it was in RTTS I would definitely shed a tear and buy my Virtual self a real life beer.

Same here, I have yet to accomplish the perfect game and still trying to achieve the Platinum on 15.

I would like to pitcher a perfect game also. I've had a few 1-hitters, but no perfect game or even a no-hitter. I would also like to take a RTTS player all the way to retirement while playing each game. I'm currently in 2019 for a RTTS player that I started on MLB 14 (year 6). That's the longest I've made it since getting to my 7th year all the way back on MLB 2007.

I have completed every game of a franchise season, that was a big accomplishment when I did that a few years ago and one I haven't been able to repeat.

Good stuff! Thank you for sharing.

I have a no hitter under the belt which was agony because the only batter to reach was a hit by pitch, ugh!

I threw a 9 inning no-hitter, but couldn't score and lost in the 10th. Never completed one. Never won the WS (never even made it, actually). Never had a 4 HR game.

There are a few, but the perfect game is my most sought after.

Re: What is your "White Whale" in the Show?

My Proudest accomplishments so far in "The Show" would have to go as follows (I'll go into detail on each one):

                        1. No-Hitter (Jarred Cosart)
                        2. Complete Season's (Houston Astros (14))
                        3. Winning AL Pennant with Astros

                        1. Ahh yes, in MLB 14 THE SHOW, I threw a complete game No-Hitter with Jarred Cosart of the Houston Astros against the Detroit Tigers IN DETROIT. I was trembling by the 9th inning but managed to pull of the feat by getting through the 9th inning 1-2-3 including getting Miguel Cabrera to bounce one to the pitcher to finish the game. It was a magical moment as it's the only time I ever have thrown a No-Hitter in any Baseball Video Game.
                        2. I'll get into more detail in the 3rd column, but in MLB 14 THE SHOW I completed a FULL SEASON with the Houston Astros and finished the season 107-55.
                        3. Bouncing back from being almost last in the division for the entire month of April, My Astros team bounced back to have one of the best season's by any team in the history of baseball. Acquiring Jarrod Parker to go alongside Ace Jarred Cosart (Cy Young) and Rookie of the year Jon Singleton led my team to the number 1 seed in the American League. We dispatched of Division Rivals, the Seattle Mariners in 3 games to move to the ALCS. In the ALCS, we came up against a really tough Royals team that bulked up their rotation during the season to include Johnny Cueto, Shelby Miller, Tim Lincecum and James Shields. It took Seven Games but we finally beat the Royals in KC to clinch the AL Pennant. The World Series would take a different turn as the Astros ran into the National League Stalwarts, the Los Angeles Dodgers who had strengthened themselves by acquiring Josh Hamilton. We lost a tough Game 1, but would bounce back to win Game 2 in LA. Coming home would prove to be disastrous as the Dodgers would rally to win all Three Games in Houston and clinch the World Series. While the loss was bitter, My Astros had gotten so far and played well all season that I couldn't help but be happy with my team's performance. Sadly I had to give up this franchise due to the unbearable schedule bug when going more than ONE season in MLB 14, but I have great memories from the first time I ever completed a full season in any baseball video game.

On the subject of the no-hitter, I hate when the broadcast team brings it up in like the 5th inning or so"...I don't want to jinx it but..."

...but I have had one with Brandon Morrow in 14' vs the Indians.

There have been numerous times when I was close with a perfect game that I would turn the announcers off because they were getting in my head, lol.

I've been robbed of multiple perfect games and no-hitters, won a WS with the Tigers, and magically made the All-Star game as a rookie, but what gets me is when I struggle, I struggle terribly. After destroying an ace I go against a #5 on a bad team and nearly get perfecto'd on.
