This is a way for GameStop to combat the digital market. VERY smart move by them since they are allowed to.

So many people are going digital, and there was an extra + of going digital and getting the game 2+hours before anyone else, without having the hassle of going to GS, driving home and having to install it and playing at 1AM, compared to 9.

Gamestop had to do something, they did the same for many games this year, and I see it continuing. The fact that people are going crazy that PSN does not change the time is ridiculous. Thats why GS is doing this.

Lol. Of course the year I decide to pre-order on Amazon for the first time ever, I find out Gamestop is doing 9PM release.

Oh well, $52 bucks for The Show is worth it I guess

This is always the best forum for levity on release day. If I was the parent of a kid who wanted me to take him to the store to get the game at 9pm, for whatever reason, I'd probably have a cow about it.....the real problem is I'm the kid AND the parent. Yikes...

My wife will think it's an emergency call from work, and if she notices I'm up really late playing a game, it'll be because the emergency at work has me all stressed out and I can't sleep. After tonight, my inability to sleep will be caused by the shock to my system of seeing the player ratings for the 2017 Oakland A's
