All fielders turn like they are playing on ice, but it is particularly noticeable in the outfield. Baserunners are pretty terrible at turning as well, I think they generally just haven't got the physics right at all

I very rarely make an error with this. When your guy is running up to the ball, he slows down and I let go of the left stick. He catches it every time for me and never over runs it.

Thanks for the advice! I've tried it a few times and even made the highlight reel with an R2 diving catch.

I think the fielding just takes some getting used to, but it's definitely not intuitive in my opinion.

I had my guy basically walk to a fly ball and had plenty of time to wait for it and it hit him in the head, smh.
