Things I took from this stream:

* PCI has been changed
* Swing Feedback changed
* New catcher animations (hinting that passed balls have been addressed)
* 1,000+ new animations in the game this year
* Catcher throwing has been changed


Really looking forward to the Gameplay Stream.

of course some silly people posted some of the Alpha on youtube and got banned, but what I seen of it up on youtube nothing really to see that is new at all. so we just have to wait till February this is about the time of year I start to get excited again for baseball

Yeah, but Ramone basically said that most of the new stuff was not in the Alpha. Animations, options, art updates, etc. All stuff that is in the build they are developing from now wasn't included in the Alpha. Their objective for the alpha was to get feedback on hitting and on network issues.

Good news for online folks, he said the Alpha did indeed reveal problems that would have not been revealed until launch day had they not done the Alpha. Stuff they now have a couple months to resolve prior to release.

Ahh yes consumers voicing their opinions, tis such a terrible thing.


Back on topic: Really glad to see them doing an Alpha, it's a very smart move from a game development point and pr move to involve the community. Hopefully this means a much more smooth year in terms of bugs and servers.
