Yeah i'm still not huge on the pitching deliveries, the ones in this video didn't look too good to me, especially Strasburg's

But at least with the batting stance creator (HUGE addition), and the ability to edit player stances, we should be able to get all stances accurate.

I'm still baffled that they work on catcher efficiency as well as animation and they put some effort into the Pitcher animation. But why do they still neglect the most basic and obvious things about catcher giving him attributes and tendencies that are germane to a catcher. It will be well over a decade of requesting Catcher specific attributes and tendencies as well as catcher pitcher chemistry.

Rain delays could be a great addition, if they've actually integrated it properly into franchise and not just had it be some random event in single games that's only implication is making you chose whether to swap your pitcher or not. If they actually integrate it into franchise so it has lasting effects on schedule and player stamina then that would be a fantastic addition.

Swing creator, meh, not overly bothered by as there were already hundreds of them anyway, but I can see why people would be into that.

Bullpen dancing, if that took more than 10 minutes then that's a complete waste of time.

What other baseball games in video game history have had in-progress rain delays? I know someone mentioned 2k but I honestly don't remember them ever having them. I know MVP had postponements, but only from the front-end (plus you could only control 1 team IIRC so re-scheduling for doubleheaders would have been a lot easier). It didn't have in-progress delays.

I have to hit the wayback machine for the only one I can remember for sure that actually interrupted a game - Acclaim's All-Star baseball series, in the Nintendo 64 era. I WANT to say 3DO's High Heat might have done it too, but my memory's a little foggy there.

It's pretty rarified air, though.
