Oh hell no.

As much of an NBA 2K fan/apologist I am, I've still had bad experiences with 2K games (2K12 and 2K17 come to mind).

I have NEVER had a bad experience with The Show. Sony San Diego has my full trust.

Buying ASAP.

The accurate tags were enough for me haha. Nothing gets me more out of this game then those awfull swipe tags through players.

It's the only reason I own a PS4. I already have it pre-ordered.

But seriously, how is buying a video game such a tough decision for people? I get that it its $60, but if you don't think you want it, just don't buy it.

Is there really more to it? Are you afraid if you don't buy day one you won't get to change your mind and buy it later?

Only reason I haven't sold my PS4 to a buddy, got the digital deluxe preordered.

I'm pretty sure that this is all that needs to be said. It seems there are a few Title Only readers here that didn't see that part of it.

If you have the money, yeah, I'm buying it right away (because I love baseball, not necessarily The Show). But don't forego real life responsibilities for a video game.

Re: Anybody else still on the edge about buying?

The moment I saw the brand new catcher animations and tagging system....oh hell yeah.

I love 17....like it is my favorite version yet....still playing it. But the crap *** catcher animations and archaic tagging system now sticks out so much more knowing it has been drastically improved.

18 is a no brainer. The gameplay will be astounding. Because 17 for me....was pretty amazing sans some ugly warts that have now been tuned and advanced.

So stoked.

Yes and no. If I don't buy it by the pre-release I won't be buying it until I get a discount. I would feel cheated if I missed days and still had to pay the $60 retail price. It's not like I'll go broke if I pay out the $60. I'm not that broke, however, having the $60 would certainly help me out more.
