14 hitters / 11 pitchers on roster

is it possible to have 14 hitters and 11 pitchers on a roster in franchise or will the game not allow it?
Thanks

Human controlled team, I wouldnt see why you couldnt. I dont believe the game makes you (HUM) have certain number of hitters or pitchers.

Franchise SIM is dead. Find your favorite iterations and play it forever. Card games are whats "now" and games will cater in that direction and forget realism.

Just have fun and play :)

I’m pretty sure 11 is the minimum for both hitters and pitchers

Its absolutely possible. Its how I usually run my franchise. In fact, I've done only 10 pitchers sometimes if I have both a great closer and great long reliever.

I really feel more comfortable with the six man bench than I do the deeper pen.

well I was actually referring to 30 team control. I want each team to have 14 hitters. Is it possible?
Thanks

It's possible IF you are willing to go through and set up each teams 25-man roster that way.

Here is the challenge. Essentially everyday you'll have to check all 30 lineups to ensure the cpu didn't do call ups/send downs etc.

I tried to go the other way (it's kind of how real MLB is now) and go 13 pitchers and 12 position players. It became very tedious to have to be checking everyday to ensure all 30-teams stayed with that set up.

Just set up each team's 25 man to your desired 14/11 set up and set the CPU profile to manual for call-ups; then you don't have to deal with their lineups but they won't make moves to fill roster spots without your input. You may want to set injuries to manual too as I'm not sure if set to auto the CPU won't force a move if a player is put on the DL that would upset the balance you're seeking.
