Did removing season mode drastically affect sales?

I would like to think that SCEA appreciates their loyal following and appease those season-mode players...but, I say season mode will remain out, and the season mode guys will still buy the game.

Yep I say a big fat 0% chance Season mode returns!

However what could return is some of the features of season mode into franchise mode.

Like options for a shortened season

I mean, they didn't tell anyone they'd done it, so probably not this year. Doing it like they did will probably hurt this years sales though

Which leads me to believe that if season mode is returning for 19, then they'd want to announce it as quickly as possible if they want to get those season only users back. Ad of the last I saw 17 had sold 1.2 million units and 18 had sold around 900,000 but that little bit of difference could be people who bought 17 WAY after price drop, maybe even after 18 was released

If they bring it back they are going along the EA way of taking features out and bringing them back in trying to hype up players to get excited for it for sales.

This isn't the way to market your game. and the Diamond Dynasty thing is become the ultimate team fantasy rubbish sadly that is mainstreamed out sporting games.

I cant see SDS hyping it up as a new feature. I'd think they'd reintroduce it as a mea culpa. Time wil tell, maybe.

Well remember how Sounds of show had to be put back in as well. It's a common thing that is dangerous in sports games, features shouldn't be taken out in games in 2019. there was a time things couldn't fit on disks but when we have games that are 60gig plus it really is unlimited now what you can do
