Game drops players at start or end of season

Ok. Duh. I just looked and see that in the manage roster screen my 40 man roster is full and AAA has 15/25 and AA has 20/25 and A is at 15. I never was aware of this. Oops. So I'll place players in the minors and see what happens.

Edit. As I remove players from 40 and send them down the game says for everyone that they're out of options. Have to pass waivers. Other teams have 2 days to pick them up or they'll be sent to where I sent them. Ugh.

So I have to do this slowly so I don't get totally lost on filling the minor league teams.

Well sort of.
But now babe ruth isn't available to be in the line up. I did all this before and he was the dh automatically. Lineups were manual. If you look at him in edit player his secondary position is if/of.
I have deleted the game and reinstalled it couple days ago. But now he's not in my lineup. It's not working the same way it did before.
I started over.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you’re using a custom roster that may have player options disabled...or players that have already used up all of their option years.

Well ya. I put legends on my roster.
It gets rid of MLB players too after season is over and I have rosters set.
