in rtts while playing SS, the rest of the infield shifts during certain situations while my user SS does not. nor does the pitcher give enough time to move over. maybe it will be the 1 gameplay addition to rtts in next years The Show 21.

I would pay triple the price of the show and promise to start playing their precious diamond dynasty for one rtts fielding option: the ability to switch camera views to the standard broadcast/dynamic/medium/high/retro cameras. Still control just the user player but start the play as if you were pitching and playing in a normal game. its got to be an easy option to implement and it would/could help serve as a training grounds for overall fielding when playing online or franchise or exhibition.

Citi field must get fixed there’s no tv monitor in the backstop I dunno how they added that in the game , must have been a old picture they had used Sony must update

I've absolutely had it with the TERRIBLE base running mechanics in this game. Why do runners slide into third EVERY TIME! It's been a bug for the past 2-3 years in this game. Once again, cost me a run in the NLDS!

PS - Do you think Tatis scored before Pham was tagged out?

Base running is the part of the game which needs the most work. Normally a base runner would never slide when no fielder is near him.

Also, the third base coach usually signals the runner when he needs to slide so with no throw or fielder nearby, the coach would signal the runner not to slide.

In thus case the third base coach would have signalled the runner to keep going and not slide or slow down.

Game certainly has its bugs. Ghost players, pitcher strikes a hitter out and immediately does 20-30 ballet pirouettes, Pitchers throwing 6 changeups in a row, foul ball that sales through the stands and all the graphics and just lays there. Nothing I can do to restart game except restart PS4.

I found the stupid baserunning can be altered by changing the aggressiveness. I just view this as Manager Yes I will play aggressive. Kinda works I'm getting tossed out on cutoff throws now.

Don't know if this is known or not...

Was playing Franchise last night, was about to make a pinch hitting substitution, but the pitcher must've been beginning his windup because it wouldn't let me make any subs. On a whim, I went to "Quick Manage" or whatever it was called, and that let menu let me make the pinch hit sub. Then I exited out and went back to the live game. It let my pinch hitter come to the plate... but here's the kicker:

Most in-game player stats were reset, and my starting pitcher regained full Energy and Confidence (it was like the 7th inning and he was approaching 100 pitches). But everyone that came to the plate after that was shown as being 0-0 in the game, and Vasgersian would announce "Coming to the plate for his first plate appearance". The game ended (I won) after my starting pitcher threw a complete game, around 130 pitches (it kept counting those for some reason), but the box score showed that he only threw 3 innings.

Anyway, don't know what impact this glitch had on my season stats or anything else, but it was a quick (accidental) way to reset my pitcher's Energy meter back to full.
