Need a few tweaks (I think "Seawolves" is a little low-centered on the homes). Team is the Norfolk Seawolves. Nofolk being a major US Naval base, and Seawolf being a US Submarine class (there's a gray seawolf coming out of the "O" in both uniforms). The "N" Primary logo has comm towers poking over the ridge, as well. Colors are "Seawolf Gray" (dark gray), "Atlantic Sea Foam" (sea foam light green), "Atlantic Aqua" (a darker teal) and "Submarine Gray" (a lighter gray used only for triming).

This is captured on MLB '21, but figured they fit in the fictional franchise thread better than anything. I also may switch to playing on MLB '20 with the same uniform set up considering how much of a mess '21 is in present state.

I like the look of those gray uni’s with the teal trim

Thanks! I felt like it fit the theme of a nautical, submarine based name sake. Gray and cold-tones that imply water. Also felt it was unique in the MLB landscape; which is usually my goal...find a team identity that fits in an unique niche' in the MLB. Actually went into this year thinking I'd make the "Yellow" MLB team (a color that has no footprint outside of very small group who offers it only as a secondary or tertiary color)...and I ended up bleak and cold (though, considering my last year's team was the Newfoundland Admirals, I should have known I'd go maritime theme).

Yes! I used logos already uploaded and created my own jerseys based on them.

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread

The trade deadline has come and gone and that means it’s time or August baseball. As the Padres enter the new month. San Diego (55-57) enters the month 3rd in the NL West with 20.5 games back of first place Colorado, 5 games behind 2nd place Colorado and 7 games out of a Wild Card spot. Pitching remains the teams biggest issue. San Diego currently has allowed the 3rd most HR (153) and blown the 3rd most games (21). Pitching bright spots are Kole Robertson (8-3) who is making a late push for a 3rd consecutive Cy Young award and Alexzander Starks (7-2, 15 Holds) is making his case for reliever of the year.

Acquired in June free agent Bronco McClendon (.278 BA) has proved to be a shrewd pick-up has proved to be a favorite in the club house and a clutch bat off the bench. KeKe Johnson (.271 BA) remains one of the more surprising players on the team; his ability to play multiple positions has given manager Brandon Albrechts options in his team's injury riddled season.

The Padres maintain an outside chance of making the play-offs. As the injuries continue to mount and the number of games left to turn it around it has many Padres faithful already thinking about the 2023 season.

Swingin’ Friars:
Bronco McClendon - .278 BA | 6 HR | 10 RBI | .704 SLG% | 1.002 OPS in 54 AB
Willy Benavides - .294 BA | 16 HR | 52 RBI | .485 SLG% | 25 doubles in 402 AB
Kris Dodson - 12 HR | 14.1 AB/HR in 169 AB

San Diego Chickens:
Train Lucas - 5 losses, 5 BS | 20 RA | 4.91 ERA | 4.15 FIP in 46 appearances
Michael Money (Sent down to AAA) - 3W/5L | 48 RA | 101 HA | 5.11 ERA | 1.47 WHIP in 81 IP
Cole Dyer - .212 BA | .256 OBP | 19 RBI | -9.8 Batting Runs in 208 AB

Best of the Month:
Pitcher:
NL - Al Parker (Dbacks) 4W/0L | 1.22 ERA | 33 SO
AL - Daisuke Okado (Tigers) 10 SV | 0.66 ERA | 12 SO
Player:
NL - Derrick Shaw (Marlins) .368 BA | 11 HR | 24 RBI in 76 AB
AL - Nate Painter (A’s) .370 | 10 HR | 25 RBI in 92 AB
Rookie:
NL - Dexter Goodwin (Giants) .367 BA | 2 HR | 8 RBI in 30 AB
AL - Sam Brandnt (White Sox) .352 BA | 1 HR | 26 RBI in 88 AB

League Leaders:
HR: NL - Derrick Shaw (38) / AL - Colby Relaford (32)
BA: NL - Kenji Suzuki (.351) / AL - Blake Dillon (.345)
RBI: NL - Casey Cain (82) / AL - Isaac White (87)
SB: NL - Speedy McGee (32) / AL - Gordon Landry (33)
WINS: NL - Elliot Prior (15) / AL - Tristan White (14)
Saves: NL - Ian West (43) / AL - Noah Smallwood (36)
ERA: NL - Ben Obermueller (1.48) / AL - Tristan White (2.41)
SO: NL - Kole Robertson (195) / AL - Blondie Pena (168)

Hunt for the Playoffs:
NL - Rockies (76-37), Reds (68-43), Marlins (65-46), Mets (64-48), Pirates (62-50)
AL - Rangers (73-40), White Sox (69-44), Red Sox (58-53), Astros (62-50), Blue Jays (55-57)

MLB on the MOVE:
  • In separate deals the Astros acquire Austin LeFave and Cody Hamlin from the Angels
  • The Tigers acquire outfielders J.C. Ray and Gavyn Cook from Atlanta and Grant May from the Giants
  • Nationals pick up Caleb Graybow
Big Names, Big Injuries:
  • Vince Cartwright (Indians) goes down again this time with a fractured hand.
  • Paul Keys (Rockies) Broken hand 1-2 months
  • Rick Payne (Rockies) Broken hand 1-2 months

Re: MLB The Show 20: Fictional Franchise Progress Thread

The first season of my league was won by the New Jersey Kekambas, while the second was won by the Vancouver Mounties, who rallied from being under .500 in early July to win it all. I'm in the middle of season 3 and will try to post updates for each game I play (one per week).
