Franchise question

I havent had the show since 09, but getting 21. I want to make a league of Greatest Players but question, will I be able to play exhibition Or only franchise? Oh also Is there different uniforms for teams?

You can play both Exhibition or Franchise with the Legends (greatest players) in the game. You can go into Roster Control before starting up your franchise and set the rosters how you want to play. Doing this also will allow you to play exhibition games with your created roster I believe.
