if you want to play Pennyball in Show 22
Baltimore, Cleveland & Pittsburgh are your under 50 feet of crap teams

if you want to play HighRollerBall
the Dodgers, Yankees & Mets are still the usual suspects

My Guardians franchise is proving to be a challenge. The have no money in the show. I signed Bieber but had to make a ton of trades to try to save money and still build a winner.

This is still fun though.

yeah, I definitely enjoy it more when I have limited funds and don't have Daddy Warbucks to lean on. if I start out with a team with a budget over $150 million, my goal is to slash the payroll to under 150 while still playing ball into October, which is extremely hard for me because I dislike getting rid of players who have been on the team for a few years. I kept Chris Davis around a lot longer than I had to, when it would have been cheaper to cut him and pay him partial what he was owed

Re: Recreating Moneyball Magic in MLB The Show

Honestly it might be my favorite sports movie of all time, and it has zero to do with being an A's fan.

But to me the lasting impact of "moneyball" on the A's organization is forever having low expectations and forever being overachievers who never achieve anything past the regular season, and somehow embracing that image. As a fan of the team that just sucks so much.
