UFC 96: Jackson vs. Jardine

Quinton Jackson vs. Keith Jardine
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shane Carwin
Pete Sell vs. Matt Brown
Matt Hamill vs. Mark Munoz
Gray Maynard vs. Jim Miller
Tamdan McCrory vs. Ryan Madigan
Kendall Grove vs. Jason Day
Tim Boetsch vs. Jason Brillz
Brandon Vera vs. Michael Patt
Aaron Riley vs. Shane Nelson

- Page is gonna KO Jardine.

- I can't wait to see Gonzaga vs. Carwin

- Pete Sell fights are always the ****. I'm glad to see him on the main card. You know Matt Brown doesn't mind banging, this should be an awesome fight.

- I still can't believe that Hamill hasn't been knocked out. Dude is like the Terminator he just keeps walking forward.

- Glad to see Brandon Vera on the undercard. His fights have been trash.

I think Page will win but I worry about Jardine's leg kicks after seeing how well the worked for Forrest against Rampage and how Jardine used them against Liddell.

Rest of my predictions:
Carwin
Sell
Maynard
Hammill
Day
Vera

I need to watch that Forrest/Rampage fight again because my memory is pretty fuzzy. I don't recall him trying to check any of those kicks at all early on.

Jardine fought well against Chuck. I think his one dimensional style really hurt him because Jardine knew he was gonna keep it on his feet. Rampage will have no problem putting Jardine on the mat if he feels it's to his advantage. I'm sure Jardine will have a good gameplan, should be an interesting matchup.

You are right. Ramp didnt try to check any of them but I dont know why. He could have been hesitant about trying to check them because of his bad knee.

Rampage imo will smoke jardine...badly.
I hope gonzaga wins w/ another head kick lol.
looking forward to most of the other fights too.
I don't think Jardine stands a chance though, he's ripe for a left hook too, the ultimate rh vs rh ko shot.

That head kick was pretty much a fluke. Gonzaga is a gutless wonder. I think if Carwin can last a round Gonzaga will crumble like he always does.

I like Rampage and think he'll win but I'll be cheering for Jardine. Can't agree with Rampage getting the next title shot if he wins.

Machida deserves a title shot but I think Rampage deserves to try to get his belt back if he wins this fight. I don't really think Forrest "beat" the champ. Is there someone besides those two that you think should get the next shot.

I'm a huge Evans/Rampage guy, but Machida facing either of them is a matchup that concerns me. I can see Lyoto beating both of them, hopefully that doesn't happen though.
