I'm surprised to see such a big name like Florian on a fight night card. The bonuses aren't as big as the PPV's so you could be potentially losing money.

Probably make up for it with their salaries.

If Florian wins (which I expect), I wonder if the UFC would give him another shot at Penn in August. Florian has already said he wants to fight in Boston and he's probably the only guy in the division that even has a slim chance to beat Penn. We just saw this fight not that long ago so I don't how much interest there would be in a rematch this quickly.

Hmm...I still think KenFlo is two fights away unless Penn decides to vacate after he beats Edgar. There really is no one left for him to fight at LW and I'm not excited to see Florian/Penn 2.

Was Gomi not signed by the UFC to find someone to challenge BJ?

Gomi has to beat Florian first.

If Florian wins, I'd give him Maynard in Boston to see who gets the next title shot. I understand Maynard deserves the title shot, but the guy is not marketable. He has zero personality and his fights are as boring as you can get. They would need an amazing editor for his HL reel. Also, I don't think anyone (including Maynard) thinks he can beat BJ. At least Kenny has a 1% chance.

What I loved about the FN 20 highlight reel was they showed his one KO victory about 8 times during it.

I don't think he earned a title fight against BJ with that FN decision...

Not sure who they'll feed to BJ next. I do agree though, I'd rather hold off on Penn/Florian 2 for a while. It'll give Florian even more time to get better and maybe he'll pull off an upset. Just doubt he can do it so soon after the last fight.
