10 point must system cost Lyoto the fight there. He easily won the fight if you look at it as a whole but the first 2 rounds were close so I knew there would be some judging wackiness. I had it 30-28 Machida though, with Machida taking rounds 1 and 3 and a draw in round 2.

Also I believe Mike Lullo would like his legs back, Edson Barboza. Those were some vicious kicks.

Did anyone stick around to watch Barbosa leg kick his way to a TKO?

New lightweight (big for that division) out of Brazil with powerful Muay Tai striking. Very impressive.

Sotiropolous vs. Siver on the Australia card next year. Seems like a step back for Sotiropolous though.

I still have no idea how Rampage won that fight. For everyone saying Machida didn't do anything in the first 2 rounds, neither did Rampage. Rampage didn't even really land any punches until the last round.

Its a holding pattern. He deserves a #1 contender fight but the Pettis/Henderson winner gets that one. So they need him to fight someone until that picture gets cleared up.

he had the takedown in round 2, he landed a few good shots in teh 1st 2 rounds including the uppercut. He didnt do much but he did more than Machida. Octogon control and aggressiveness won him the 1st round, takedown won him round 2 and round 3 he lost.

Really don't see why people are giving Rampage the first round. He landed 2 significant punches that round. The uppercut coming out of the clinch and a right hook shortly after that. The rest of his offense was foot stomps and body jabs in the clinch which Lyoto matched him on. Lyoto landed multiple leg and body kicks that round.

Round 2 there was nothing going on either way which is why I gave it a 10-10. Both fighters clinched against the cage most of the round with more foot stomps and body shots.

There needs to be some way that non title fights can be made into 5 rounds. I really don't have an interest in seeing Machida/Jackson again unless its 5 rounds.
