Yes. The UFC always has a card on that Saturday. Usually its one of their biggest cards of the year, aside from last years debacle.

Fitch vs. Ellenberger might take place on this card.

It looks like the UFC is doing everything in their power not to give Fitch a title shot and they don't want to risk Condit losing to Fitch since that match makes a lot more sense.

After Shields, there's nobody for GSP to fight except for Condit. I'm pretty sure most UFC fans have no interest in watching GSP fight Fitch, Penn, or Hughes again.

I never really want to see Fitch fight ever again period. These guys don't do anything for me, and I wish that style wouldn't win them matches. This is no shot at GSP, as he is acceptable in my eyes.

I got Jones by 2nd round TKO, and Silva by 1st round KO.
