I dont disagree with Dana's Monday statement at all. GSP's statement was non-committal in the ring regarding retirement. He was still punchy and thats probably why it was but it seemed like he was semi retiring. He was hinting at taking a year or so off from the sport with no guarantee he would return. The UFC doesnt do interims when there is no potential date of return. Even with Cruz, they knew he was coming back even though he had medical setbacks.

I know I complain about fighter behavior pretty often, I am just big on class and dignity. I know the fight game is different than other sports, so I try to go light, but I am getting a little tired of the "I wasn't even trying to knock him out." Uh, ok guy.

You gotta lighten up, man. They're fighters. The over confident, I can beat anybody attitude that makes them entertaining in the ring can't just be shut off when they get a mic in front of them.

And honestly, who cares if he's an ***? I actually find that MORE entertaining.
