Barao needs to move up, it looked as if the weight cut really taxed him, I mean second round he was gassing fast.

Miesha grind has always been her thing but damn her boxing looked good.

Joe Lauzon is very underrated in my opinion and I dont mean that from a standings point. He is not flashy, a loud mouth, or in the news doing dumb stuff so he flys under everyones radar but he is a guy who gives good fights every card he is on.

All in all excellent free card, except Miesha tates boyfriend there is just something about him I dont like.

I didn't like Caraway for awhile either, and the fishhook thing didn't help, but he's surprised me lately, he's pretty good fighter.

I agree that Barao needs to move up.

I just wonder what that insane cut and 30 camps already have done to him long term.

Dominick Cruz quotes from the MMA Hour:

On comparisons made between him and TJ Dillashaw: "I see absolutely no similarities between my fighting style and TJ Dillashaw's. And the reason I say that is we do different things. He's switching stances and I'm not. I'm doing something totally different that nobody understands...Now, my style is being appreciated. When I go out there, people will see TJ Dillashaw is nothing but a wannabe."

On Urijah Faber: "I cleaned out the division four years ago. Completely cleaned it out, and it hasn't changed...Urijah Faber could have the title right now, but he's too scared to fight TJ and get beat by him, so he's just going to stay in that miscellaneous floating area."

On return: "I'm looking to be back by the new year. That's my goal. Either that first new year card or the one before it."

On the bantamweight title: "Nobody believes he (Dillashaw) is champion right now. I mean, they think he's good. But they don't believe he's champion, and that's why they couldn't sell the fight in Chicago." He continued, "He hasn't fought anybody to be a champion. Dillashaw still needs to fight somebody as good as me to even believe in himself. He has no clue what he's facing."

On Dillashaw's coach, Duane Ludwig:
"Duane Ludwig could learn something from me. I could be Duane Ludwig's coach."

I sometimes wonder what if Cruz never got hurt and these last three years if he's added another 7-8 consecutive victories, where would he be talked about as an all time great

I dont know. I think people wouldve been killing him for being a decision machine. The Mizugaki finish was a surprise but his style and lack of power will always keep him from being a finisher.
