Question about spam in the mma forum

Lots of times when I watch the fights I like to comment, even if it's to myself for some reason. If say 30 minutes goes by and I want to post again can I give a new reply if no one replied after my last post, or should I just edit last post. I'm talking about a decent amount of time, obviously if it's like 5 minutes I'd just edit.

Just want to follow rules and not be considered forum spammer
