9 billion dollar (27 billion for all 3 networks) tv contract for the NFL. And it's probably written in the contract that the game has to be shown live in it's entirety. And Fox is only paying around 700 million for UFC. Also they are getting more ad revenue during NFL games then the UFC fights.
