If you know how to trigger the goal where the owner raises your budget on Jan 2nd and you get 100 VC for accepting, let me know, I had it working then changed my roster and totally lost it. So -100 VC for my method.

Still...

The important thing to know is that what you are waiting to reset after you sim a season are the specific owner goals--and the Thunder have a lot of owner goals...but not quite all of them.

So...you need another team with another roster that will give you a couple other goals. I'm using the Jazz. I put in rookie Alonzo Mourning, stack the team and I hit two goals after 54 games--improve last year's team record and play Mourning 24 minutes, boom 400 VC and I can do that immediately before or after I sim with the Thunder. Add that to my previous sim and the worst I can do is 2050 VC.

You can quit there, restart, and I believe immediately do the Thunder sim again because enough time has passed for those goals.

Or you can quick finish the season, hopefully sign some new personnel and you will get that VC too, maybe 50-200+ VC for another minute or two of simming.

Rinse and repeat.

I'm still trying to figure out how to trigger other goals. If you do go way over budget with the Jazz the owner will sometimes ask you to not do any more promotions which is 100 VC after the playoffs end. But I really want that budget increase back...

Let me know if you know how to trigger any additional goals not already used by common Thunder VC rosters.

The idea is have two rosters, two teams, and whatever goals one doesn't have, try to get with the other.

The Bobcats had raise moral of the assistant coach above 50 and I did that with extending his contract to 3 yrs, brought it up to 70. Was like 100 or 200 vc for that. Also had get at least 26 wins for 200 vc.
