Road to the Playoffs is a joke

The average person who plays this game is so horrible it amazes me. If they aren't chessing it with Zach Lavine and LeBron then they're chucking with Curry, Durant, Melo, ect.

You would think in a mode that everyone has the freedom to make super teams they'd at least make it hard on people by putting it on Hall of Fame difficulty and not letting people get a poster or 3 in a player's face every time. Nope, instead they probably try to appeal to the brain dead portion of the 2k community that don't know how to do anything but those two things.

Hopefully they will be returning the tournament mode with some restrictions.

Ability to get all gold+3gold badges on each players is what makes thing super cheesy. Give average silver player like V.Carter gold posteriser and one man fast break and you got 2002 version of him basically.
Indeed agree that RTTP is not well designed mode, difficulty setting should be consistent at hof/superstar in all seeds and there should be limits all the way up to 1st seed.

Yeah 2k definitely failed to think logically.

A mode where you can have a team of stars on pro setting is ridiculous

I just play it and have fun, but a lot of it seems scripted. Every mode has cheesers though. Go to the park or play head to head. Same thing. It is not unique to MyTeam. 2k said they are doing something about it in the next update. They were specific about it, but yeah we will see.

The badges aren't the problem imo, its the low difficulty which makes them act all OP. If the difficulty started on superstar and climbed to HOF then it would surely be way less cheesy.

Add in the fact that youve gotta watch out for the timeout glitch, thats the main reason Ive been staying away from RTP

I've only actually gotten this once - I'm in the 2nd seed and have been taking my sweet time not really worrying about losses. The one guy who did do it was annoying tho but he gave up after about 20 minutes

Bingo.

This has been a problem ever since MyTeam was first introduced, so there's really no excuse for it to still be going on now. A skilled player can lose to a casual player at any given time all because 3s go in way too often (even when they're contested) and because some players are extremely overpowered (LBJ, LaVine, etc.) and can just run at the rim and throw down a dunk on 3-4 defenders.

It's an extremely simple fix that 2K continues to refuse to acknowledge.
