It may just be me but the guys that I already have that have high steal ratings rarely get steals. Most of the time if you go for a steal it's called a foul. I don't really see the appeal of these packs.

Ruby Marion has 80 on-ball IQ, 79 standing three, 82 defensive rebound, 78 offensive rebound.

Onyx Marion has 84 on-ball IQ, 84 standing three, 88 defensive rebound, 80 offensive rebound.

The only advantages Ruby Marion has over the Onyx card are better starting badges, a 99 steal rating, and a +5 to lateral quickness.

I'd go for the Onyx card if you're a big fan of The Matrix.

The defensive IQ ratings are more important than the steal rating IMO.

On-ball steals aren't something that you should be trying to do a lot of if you want to play sound defensive basketball.

It's more important to have your defenders in good position, which is where the IQ ratings come into play.
