MVP Packs?

Were the MVP packs a limited edition thing or do I have to do something to unlock then I haven't seen any. I really want MVP Kobe or '06 Kobe but they cost so much in the market. I'm on XB1

They were released a couple months back, and it's unlikely they will be available again. Your only choice to get MVP players is to buy them off the auction house.

Last year they re-released all of the special packs during playoffs, but they haven't said anything about them this year. I think we may be stuck with the playoff packs.

They actually announced they're rereleasing the MVP packs soon. It should be dropping in a few weeks

Do they announce things like this via the 2k Twitter handle?

...Just got back into 2k after many years hiatus and have played MT for about 2 weeks straight. Kinda curious if they would do another release, or if they have already moved onto 2k17.

2k16 MT is dead, no new releases in a while.
