Tony Parker vs Jerry Lucas Domination Pick-up

I'm close to completing Historic Domination and like many other people I'm having difficulty debating who I should pick. I play through my point guard a lot, so Tony seems like an instant fit but I am intrigued by Lucas. He can rebound extremely well, and has excellent post and shooting ratings. However his defense and athleticism are considerably worse than Josh Smith who I am running at the 4 and who plays very well for me, so he'd have to be a considerable upgrade to make the starting line-up and I'm not spending all this effort in Domination to pick a Diamond who doesn't start. My issue with Tony is I've heard he is a bit of a liability on defense, and I might under use him since I play a pass heavy offense: very rarely do I score double digits with my Pg.
Any feedback for either players would be appreciated

Being a pass heavy offense suits tony just fine, he comes with gold Catch and Shoot.

I'll just say he is what he is. I took Tony because I like playing his style of ball, but he can be abused sometimes by guards like Francis. If you take Tony it's a must to run PNR through him because he has a HOF PNR Maestro badge. I also like him since he isn't going to one man fast break dunk on everyone, it forces me to slow down and play more deliberately.

I think I would have an easier time in MTO if I had taken Ben, but it is what it is. If you use Tony right, he can be great.

I can really recommend TP. The HOF badge is very valuable with this years OP Pick&Roll game. Once you master the (quick and easy) release he hits jumpshots consistently, including catch and shoot 3 pointers. If you play BT, he is the best choice anyway and you can pick up Lucas as well when you finished BT.
I have LJ as my PF, so similar situation as yours and the choice was obvious for me.

Once you get diamond LJ, there's truly no reason to want jerry Lucas.

I'm torn on Tony or Lucas as well. So do you like your choice, no regrets?

True, but diamond Larry Johnson costs several hundred thousand MT that you'll never get back once you lock him into your collection, whereas diamond Jerry Lucas costs nothing but the time you spent playing games to unlock him.

If you know to play post, then Lucas is very good. And he is a great Rebounder. And a stretch 4
