Guess 2K doesn't want my money

So, I turned on 2K today after being away for about a week, and I get a 50% off the 75k VC notification. I think, why not? Try to buy it, and no dice. Said transaction cancelled. Tried buying it through MyCareer, same thing. I guess my $10 wasn't good enough.

Anyone else ever have that happen?

I think the notification is sent when the offer period starts, it probably expired

Well, it still had the 3 hour countdown going. Also, I tried buying other amounts, and it wouldn't let me buy anything.

I don't really play online that much, so I missed the server issues. That would explain it. Just stinks to miss out on a fairly good deal. Oh well. I'm probably better off not wasting my money on packs again this year.

Seriously. I dont even get mad anymore. Usually by the time I sell off badges, contracts, shoes, unwanted players, etc....it turns out ok. But I preordered and had the game a few days early. I spent $100 that weekend, and Sapphires were shooting out of my console on fire. And that was when they were going for 5x what they are now.

Packs are dead. Was actually going to start a thread about this.

They're dead until they're lit. And there will be a special pack for which the odds are goosed at least in the beginning. They always crash the market hard, at some point, and flood it with 90-95 OVR cards.
