I've been mostly playing Live 19 since picking it up for $10. It's not a better game -- it doesn't feel as good on the court, the modes don't really engage me as much, but it's simple, straightforward, and a lot less nonsense. This 2k plays so damn well! Just too much BS all the time.*

Over the weekend I lost myself to MyTeam and 2k all over again. It plays such a good game of basketball that it makes Live feel paper thin in comparison. I still want more flexibility in MyTeam but it's such a good game of hoops. I retinkered my roster, rekitted my squad, played some fresh Domination (which can still be a little too frustrating b/c of contracts at times, but I don't have the answer for how you promote roster diversity without them) and weekly challenges, which have brought me renewed interest in my Sapphire team headed up by White Chocolate and LaFrentz, punched up with Flight School McGrady. Would have happily played the day away in the mode again.*

Worth the price he's going for right now you think? I came really close to locking in the set for pink diamond Jason Kidd, but now I think I'm gonna sell all those cards and go for Payton. He looks awesome!
