The game code imo is the cause for this. Back in the day, for those that remember the old Double dribble, or Pat Rileys Basketball, Bull Vs Blazers etc, the game code matched the scores, this gave that realistic feel.

In today's games the higher the score the better, look at real life games, there have been scores of 125, 130s range in a Regular season game not including what they do in the Allstars game.

No matter what sliders, how much you tweak it, it can't be fixed, because the game code designed by the developers is what dictates it to play like that. I see it often, and just have chalked it up to its just a video game, not real life, and once I was able to really drop my focus on trying to make it play realistic games the more watchable and playable it became on an enjoyable level.

This recently happen to me in madden, I asked for help, not even a response, so I made it into my own version of understanding, I had most the tools from the past, so no big deal, once you find your way to enjoy the game you like to play, the way you want it to play, you'll be just fine.

Thanks for the response. It’s a shame because these rosters are amazing. And the Era thing is such a great addition. I just want realistic games. Like you said… it just a video game. Not sure why it needs to be this way? I only play cpu vs cpu in all sports video games and I great great results in mlb the show and nhl. Even hood games in madden. It’s just nba 2k.
