I've noticed on shot timing that pulling the left stick away from the hoop once in the shooting motion/at the release that it gives a different landing animation for some players. Dame for example has his landing animation if you do this, but if you don't it just gives the generic landing and follow through.

Pretty sure this was possible in an older 2K but I could be wrong, could've been a while ago.

Yeh this has been possible for a few years now. I still do it to this day

It's so satisfying to do in this game because of ProPlay, some animations are so smooth! This is the first 2K I've bought on release since 2K19 and I'm really impressed ProPlay so far

Yeh it's the best 2k in quite some time. Has its bugs but it's still great. The layups are funky I wonder if they can fix that in a patch. I have a feeling they can't.

Nice. I don’t use it because I’ll mess up the timing about 10% of the time and do a stepback.

Haha fair. I literally never stopped doing it since it was discovered so I literally can't even help it now I do it automatically even when I don't want to so I can see the pro play landings
