JazzMan's Realistic Fictional Draft Classes on PS4
What's up guys, I'm in the process of creating the first of what should be many fictional draft classes on the Playstation 4. These classes are fictional, and should work with most rosters. I personally use remdizzle's rosters for MyGM, so these draft classes might be tailored best for his rosters, but like I said, they should work with any roster.
My goal is not only to make the Association in MyGM mode balanced a few years down the road (something CPU-generated classes fail to do every year), but also to allow the League to retain a sense of personality and character. What's the fun in playing in a league where everyone is a blank-faced robot? Obviously, this will be a bit of a challenge on Next-Gen because of the inability to customize faces and tattoos. However, all should be well, as there are typically lots of different player models to choose from in the CPU-generated classes to help achieve my goal. If anybody has used my draft classes in the past on the 360 on 2k13 (tyklug2013's Fictional Draft Classes), you should be familiar with my format. I tend to create players with lower potential and overall ratings to avoid an overload of talent in the league, which leads to talented players (80 overalls) sitting in free agency or at the end of the bench, where they complain and get traded for other 80 overalls. Each class will be unique and might be a strong class, a weak class, or an average class. You may get an All-Star in one draft, you may get a couple of Stars in another, and you may get role players in another. I'm going for variety here. My time to work on these will be somewhat limited, so after I finish up this first class, it may be a while for Class #2 to be released. I might consider working with another OS member once this class is completed. Hopefully you guys will enjoy this project and your MyGMs when you use these classes. As always, feedback and MyGM stories are appreciated. highfive.gif

File Name: JazzMan's Fictional #1 NCAA Tournament Final Four: Ohio State defeats Duke, Louisville defeats Michigan State. NCAA National Championship Game: Louisville defeats Ohio State 71 to 62. MVP: Jeremiah Jackson (Did not declare) - 19 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 6-8 FG, 3-4 3PT, 4-4 FT. Point Guard
Spoiler
PG Class Grade: B-
All year, the talk of draft in terms of the Point Guard position was Ohio State sophomore Brandon Taylor. Taylor was the floor general for the Buckeyes last season as he lead them to the NCAA Championship game. Taylor's game revolves around his raw athleticism and his ability to get to the basket with ease. Defensively, he's very quick laterally and likes to gamble for a steal and an easy bucket on the fast break. He has the potential to be VERY good defensively due to his quickness and long arms. Offensively, his jumper needs work, but he has no problems with getting to the basket and finishing in traffic. His court vision is also above average, as he can find the open man while driving. In his Freshman season, Taylor won the Freshman of the Year award as he led the Buckeyes to the Sweet 16 in his first collegiate season. This season, he failed to secure the Player of the Year award, but he finished as a 1st Team All-American. Expect Taylor to be drafted in the Top 5 due to his potential alone. Season Averages: 17.6 PPG, 6.1 APG, 1.7 SPG, 51.3% FG, 30.4% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'3", 191 lbs, 20 Years Old Wright.jpg German Point Guard Sheldon Wright has a fearsome jumpshot. The other Point Guard that has been given high-expectations is German point guard Sheldon Wright. Wright is a 21-year-old from Munich, and he's been playing professionally since the age of 16. Wright flew under the radar the past few seasons, and it took up until this past year for the NBA scouts to discover Wright overseas. The question, though, is clearly if Wright is for real? Sheldon possesses a credible jumpshot, and he's much more of a scorer than a distributor. His defense needs work, but his quick hands allow him to grab a solid amount of steals. Since he's been playing professionally for so long, one has to wonder if Wright's ceiling is really that much higher than where he's at now. Regardless, Wright should be a solid point guard in this league. Season Averages (Euroleague): 10.2 PPG, 4.7 APG, 2.4 SPG, 47.4% FG, 38.9% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'2", 169 lbs, 21 Years Old Other Notable Point Guards Otis Hudson, Point Guard, Duke. 6'1", 182 lbs, 20 years old. Season Averages: 15.6 PPG, 6.5 APG J.J. Martin, Point Guard, Louisville. 5'10", 168 lbs, 23 years old. Season Averages: 8.7 PPG, 7.1 APG, 2.1 SPG Seth Glover, Point Guard, Iowa. 6'5", 195 lbs, 22 years old. Season Averages: 12.3 PPG, 5.7 APG, 5.1 RPG Shooting Guard
Spoiler
SG Class Grade: B
With plenty of depth at the 2-guard position in this year's class, there isn't really anyone who stands out as the top Shooting Guard in the class. However, Creighton's senior Bryce Logan probably has the most complete resume. Logan finished his collegiate career with a 2 1st Team All-American awards, a 2nd Team All-American award, and a Player of the Year award his Junior year. When asked why he didn't declare for the NBA draft last season after his amazing Junior season, Logan answered, "I still haven't accomplished the one thing that I came here for. I want to win a championship with Blue Jays." Though they failed to win the National Championship, the Blue Jays faired very well in the NCAA Tournament, as they lasted until the Elite 8. There, the eventual champions, Louisville, knocked them out. However, no one can blame Logan, who led the Blue Jays in nearly every statistical category. Logan is an excellent 2-way player that can fill it up in bunches on the offensive end, then get back and play excellent team defense. He could be the perfect addition to a contender, which might warrant trading up into the lottery to snag him. Season Averages: 19.8 PPG, 5.1 APG, 1.7 BPG, 6.7 RPG, 53.8% FG, 43.9% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'7", 204 lbs, 22 Years Old Logan.jpg Bryce Logan, Creighton, might be the best all-around player in the draft.
Spoiler
The opposing 2-guard of the team that knocked out Logan's Blue Jays in the Elite 8 is no slouch, either. Ray Buchanan, Louisville, was a standout Sophomore for the Cardinals this past year after having a relatively disappointing Freshman campaign. Though Buchanan had a difficult Freshman season, he learned a valuable lesson about adversity. After his first collegiate season, the Cardinals recruited the top recruit in the Nation, Jeremiah Jackson, who just so happened to be at Buchanan's position. Buchanan was expected to fall back on the depth chart in favor of the stud Freshman, but instead, he thrived as a Small Forward for Louisville, as he displayed his versatility. With both Buchanan and Jackson in the starting lineup, the Cardinals captured another National Championship.
Buchanan's game relies mostly on his athleticism to make electrifying plays on both ends. Though he's not a pure scorer, Buchanan can score in a few different ways, such as attacking the basket or pulling up from mid-range. His three-ball definitely needs work, though. Defensively, Buchanan's quickness gives him the edge over most in one-on-one matchups. He won't get you much stats on the defensive end, but he's a very underrated perimeter defender. Season Averages: 12.2 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 51.3% FG, 33.2% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'5", 221 lbs, 20 Years Old Other Notable Shooting Guards Wilson Thomas, Shooting Guard, Baylor. 6'3", 215 lbs, 20 years old. Season Averages: 20.3 PPG, 46.5% FG, 42.1% 3PT Stephen Elliott, Shooting Guard, North Carolina. 6'4", 225 lbs, 19 years old. Season Averages: 16.9 PPG, 54.2% FG, 2.9 SPG, 4.7 RPG Desean Reed, Shooting Guard, Kentucky. 6'6", 193 lbs, 20 years old. Season Averages: 19.7 PPG, 1.9 SPG, 5.1 RPG, 42.9% FG, 51.1% 3PT Small Forward
Spoiler
SF Class Grade: A-
The Small Forward position features arguably the two best players in the draft this year. One of them is the 19-year-old phenom from Russia, Igor Titov. Titov dominated the Nike Hoops Summit last year, scoring 37 points to break Shabazz Muhammed's scoring record at the competition. And really, that's what sums Titov's game up the best: score. Titov specializes in putting the ball in the basket, and man, is he good at it. Titov played in the VTB league for 2 years until declaring that he would enter the NBA Draft at the age of 19 years old. Titov.jpg Titov dominated the VTB in Russia for 2 years before declaring for the NBA Draft. At 6'8", 220 pounds, Titov is a fully-grown man. He uses his size to score over top of smaller defenders with ease. Though he's definitely not a good rebounder, with his size, he has plenty of room to improve his rebounding numbers. Defensively he has potential, mostly due to his size. However, he's surprising quick for his 6'8" frame. Titov might be going off the board first in the draft. Season Averages (VTB League): 16.5 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 54.4% FG, 40.0% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'8", 220 lbs, 19 years old The other Small Forward that's been garnering a lot of attention is the standout forward from Michigan State, Jordan Webster. Webster was a Sophomore this season and the National Player of the Year. Though he failed to lead MSU to a National Title, Webster was overall fairly proud of his accomplishments this season: "I certainly won't look at this year as a failure at all. We made it to the Final Four, I won the Player of the Year, and now I'm going to be one of the top draft picks in the draft this year. I think this year is a success, to me anyway." Webster.jpg Webster took home Player of the Year honors after his great Sophomore season at MSU Although he's a bit arrogant, Webster certainly has plenty of talent to back up his talk. He's an offensive machine when he's driving to the hoop, and on defense he was one of the top perimeter defenders in the nation as well. Though he may rely on his athleticism a little too much and his jumper not enough, Webster has the talent and potential to be an All-Star in this league. Season Averages: 21.0 PPG, 5.3 APG, 6.5 RPG, 1.9 BPG, 2.0 SPG, 51.3% FG, 31.8% 3PT Physical Attributes: 6'8", 214 lbs, 20 years old Other Notable Small Forwards Mitchell Henry, Small Forward, Texas. 6'8", 195 lbs, 22 years old. Season Averages: 12.1 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 2.7 SPG, 43.3% FG, 46.9% 3PT Tyrone Frazier, Small Forward, Indiana. 6'9", 233 lbs, 22 years old. PF Class Grade: B-
Ohio State's Randy Douglas took home Freshman of the Year honors this season after his spectacular first collegiate year. However, after just one year in the college life, Douglas has decided to pursue an NBA career, and this might be the best decision of his life. The Power Forward position lacks a breakout guy in this year's class, and after an impressive Freshman campaign at OSU, many are looking to Douglas to be the young stud here. Along with point guard Brandon Taylor, Douglas led the Buckeyes to the National Championship Game, where they lost to Louisville. Douglas is a pure athlete at 6'9", 258 pounds. And at just 19, there's plenty of room for improvement for him as well. Offensively, he won't be able to give you much yet other than offensive rebounds and dunks, but defensively is where he shines the brightest. Douglas' rare blend of quickness, strength, and speed will give him an advantage over some of the giants of the NBA, and his non-stop motor should help him keep going throughout the entire season. Season Averages: 15.1 PPG, 10.3 RPG, 3.1 BPG, 56.3% FG Physical Attributes: 6'9", 258 lbs, 19 years old Smith.jpg Louisville's Everett Smith was arguably the best offensive big man in college hoops. Opposite of Douglas in the National Championship Game was Louisville's Everett Smith. Smith is almost the polar-opposite of Douglas, as instead of hustle and athleticism, he brings you low-post scoring and, well, more scoring. Though Smith was running with Raymond Buchanan and Jeremiah Jackson all year, a lot of Louisville's success has to be credited to the big man. Smith was unstoppable in the post all season long in the American Conference, as well as the NCAA tournament. Though Smith's game revolves largely around his low-post scoring, it might perhaps be his mid-range jumpshot that is his biggest asset. He shot 48% from outside of the paint last season, and though his jumper doesn't extend past the three-point line, he can still spread the floor fairly well. Even though defensively he's a nightmare (not in the good way), Smith is one of the top big men in the draft. Season Averages: 19.3 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 53.1% FG Physical Attributes: 6'10", 269 lbs, 20 years old Other Notable Power Forwards Edward Fox, Power Forward, Syracuse. 6'9", 247 lbs, 21 years old. Season Averages: 23.1 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 47.9% FG, 38.9% 3PT Colin Jackson, Power Forward, Marquette. 6'9", 222 lbs, 21 years old. Season Averages: 9.7 PPG, 12.3 RPG, 1.9 BPG, 56% FG Desmond Arthur, Power Forward, Florida. 6'11", 244 lbs, 21 years old. Season Averages: 16.6 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 1.5 BPG, 43.9% FG, 48.3% 3PT Center

C Class Grade: D+
The Center position is noticeably weak this year, but Kansas standout Freshman Wade Harper looked solid all year. Harper was a defensive force for the Jayhawks this season, and his offensive game wasn't all that bad, either. Though he failed to win Player of the Year honors, Harper and the Jayhawks had a mildly successful year, as they made it to the Round of 32 before they were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament. Harper can bring great defense and rebounding to an NBA team, as well as a nice touch around the rim and explosive finishes. Though he's still definitely raw, especially offensively, Harper looks to be one of the top big men in the draft this year. Other Notable Centers Mathew Daniels, Center, Mississippi State. 7'1", 267 lbs, 22 years old. Season Averages: 13.4 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 3.1 BPG, 51.1% FG Arnold Reid, Center, Germany. 7'2", 224 lbs, 19 years old. Season Averages (Euroleague): 7.4 PPG, 8.9 RPG, 5.1 BPG, 64.5% FG Dale Young, Center, Duke. 7'0", 271 lbs, 24 years old. Season Averages: 9.3 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 2.1 BPG, 52.9% FG Mock Draft

Re: JazzMan's Realistic Fictional Draft Classes on PS4
As a future note, I would highly suggest using these classes in order from 1-X. I will incorporate storylines and situations from year-to-year, such as Jeremiah Jackson almost taking Class 1 Prospect Raymond Buchanan's starting job at Louisville.
Yes, Jeremiah Jackson will be in Class Two, and yes, he is legit. Another future example might be brothers going in separate classes or players not entering the draft until the next year. As of now, I'm not sure how many classes I will end up making in total, but I'd love to get to 8. I got to 5 last year alone, so if somebody ends up coming onto the project, I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to create 10.

Background: Jordan Webster the all around beast from the east the D’s savior hometown hero all names in hype he had to lived up for the longest time going to Michigan State over Michigan made a lot of noise around Detroit but he said “I always wanted to play for a legendary coach” Turn out to be a great idea as a Soph. leading his team to the Final four and being a the Player of the year This highly hyped player at 6’8 will probably be the top pick or close to it the real question for him is can he live up to the hype when he was ask about it he said “Basketball comes easy something I have been doing this since I was 5 years old…I look up to the greats and I want to be one of those people no pressure really just hard work and confidence” Scouting Report: Athleticism: He has long arms could make him a great defender his speed is yet to be seen talked around and some people say that he is fast enough to keep out with SG some say he might need to work on his feet work hard to tell Offense: His ability could make him starter on a team that needs a sf BAD he can get easy fouls and tough lay-ups his out side scoring has improve year after year and if he keeps improving it HE COULD BE SCARY Defense: He is 6’8 but when it comes to Rebound he is kinda small has to improve on the broads but his length should help him he was an avg. defender in college the inside scoop says “he was a great defender when he wanted to be….but that wasn’t a lot” IT Factor: Yes-Kids definitely coming in the league to be a star but will he get there is the question Igor Titov SF/SG 6’8 220 19 Russia, Moscow, Russia
Spoiler
Background: The Moscow kid aka the “Celebrity” is not scared of the big lights as he has always been in the spotlight while in high school his head coach said he was the biggest star he has been around at 16! This guy has a GROWN-MAN GAME and all caps he is a big 6’8 Luc Longley build type of player his laid back personality and just made for stardom He gets Buckets on the court has always made it look easy when he come over here for the Camps he was the best player in ever one and the media flocked to him even was on ESPN top plays a couple of times this summer the kid is BIG Athleticism: Avg. Speed Avg. Quickness Great stamina really this the only area of his game that could be called a weakness Offense: Shoot it from outside inside around the side????? Need I say more he can flat out score as a rookie he might lead the class in PPG Defense: Well he wont ever be your strongest Defender and he wont lead your team in rebounding But did I tell you he can SCORE that’s his best Defense IT Factor: The Drake of his City He is ready to put Moscow on the map and could change a Franchise when he gets there Brandon Taylor 6’3 191 20 Ohio State, Indiana, South Bend
Spoiler
Background: From South Bend some say Indiana is where basketball started and where it’s the best at Brandon takes that with pride as in College at Ohio State was Determined to prove people that Indiana Kids know how to ball taking his team to the sweet 16 as a freshman and almost winning it all the second year he went off almost winning player of the year and the Championship game Jokingly telling AAU buddy “RAY” he owes him one Brandon is ready to make some noise in the NBA with all the great PG can he be the NEXT ONE?
Athleticism: He is what we call a FREAK long wingspan big hands smooth strides quickness and the ability to fly when he jumps he has it all Offense: Like all players that can get to the basketball because of speed and prue athleticism the lack shooting “he’s not Rondo but he sure isn’t Seth curry” a scout told me the other day gym time+jumpers are def. needed for this guy can pass the ball well of the dribble and hit open shooters Defense: If this guy focus on this side of the ball I am sorry in advance because he will be fright to see fast quick likes to go after the ball and you cant catch him on a fast break with a foul has the ablity to take the game over if he focus on this part of his game IT Factor: Its a lot of competition at this Position all ready and he might be able to crack in that fight for best young PG Wilson Thomas SG/SF 6’3 215 20 Baylor, South Carolina, Rock Hill
Spoiler
Background: Wilson favorite NBA players are Ray Allen Larry Bird and Reggie Miller any idea what he use to do in his back yard growing up? This South Carolina boy has put in the work effort to be called the best shooter in the draft in my opinion same say its Bryce Logan I disagree Wilson has set ever South Carolina high-school record for shooting and in college at Baylor was an outstanding shooter quite laid back type when ask what did he think about being at top 10 prospect he answered “I just like shooting the ball and I love playing this game”
Athleticism: He is the guy that walks in the gym gets picked to play a game no one expecting him to do much and then the game starts….very quick great stamina and little bit above avg. hops I would say this is Offense: His high-school and College numbers speak for there self streaky at times and is always and I mean always looking to shoot the ball he will need a lot of shots to stay out of cold streaks Defense: He isn’t horrible where you will notice but you definitely won’t put him in late games when you need some D IT Factor: Maybe-This all depends on the situation he gets drafted to and if he puts in the work he could be a top 1O SG…definitely has a shooters chance! Edward Fox PF/SF 6’9 247 21 Syracuse, Brooklyn, New York
Spoiler
Background: Where BROOKLYN at where BROOKLYN at, A true NYC ball player grew up on out door courts playing ball in timberlands during the winter he went “up top” to play ball at Syracuse carrying on the tradition of there 6’7 up guys that can do it all the word All-around is the only way to describe this guy at cuse’ he help his team in Points Per Game Rebounding and 3PT% when of the more intriguing picks of the draft because he does nothing great but every thing well
Athleticism: If anything he is weak at it would be speed for a SF position but a quick PF so again it’s a toss up if a team is looking for a flex PF he might or might not be the guy he is however long and that will help but at 6’9 will struggle with the longer taller PF if he works on his quickness he will be a great Flex player but that’s IF! Offense: He’s decent from the 3 he is okay mid range some post up some ball handling okay at that height can finish with some power but isn’t a leaper…he has no clear weapon and if a team that looking to build a weapon he might have the best parts! Defense: This is what needs help the most he has had trouble at the college level guarding people but it was hard to judge if it was because he was in a zone 100% of the time and it made it hard for him to guard elite guards on the wings and because he was at an Rebounding disadvantage because of the zone IT Factor: NO- I know I said he could become a weapon but I think to a fault he is just to NORMAL as a player to become great but he will fit in on any team Bryce Logan SG/SF 6’7 204 22 Creighton, Sliver Springs, MD
Spoiler
Background: I don’t know how Creighton continue to find ball players that people wish they recruited well Bryce is another on another kid from Maryland they couldn’t keep in-state and he goes to Creighton tears the scene up! Scored 21 pts from the 3pt line ALONE giving him at career high of 42 pts against a front running Michigan team in the last years tourney defiantly up his stock when ask about why he didn’t stay in Maryland and why people underestimate him he said “I didn’t go to UMD because I wasn’t even invite to the camps by the coaches intill my Sr. year so when they finally wanted me I was over them and because I look like a Football player” he has a fire about him and I like it!
Athleticism: he isn’t a long 6’7 or a fast one at that won’t hurt him on offense as much as the other side of the ball but really no athleticism to speak of Offense: Kid can fill it up to be honest I don’t know how he does it but he is a great shooter coming off picks and soon as he catches the ball if you are not in his face its SPLASH time I love his game on this side of the ball Defense: Above Avg. defender really good against slower SG and SF but how many “slow” people are at that position potential to be a strength for a team then a liability if he can get his foot speed up IT Factor: No-I only say no because at his position its going to be hard to keep up with the pace of the NBA but that’s the ONLY reason I don’t see this guy being elite or IT! Wade Harper PF/C 6’10 270 19 Kansas, Atlanta, Georgia
Spoiler
Background: From Atlanta GA where basketball is played a little different what makes him stand out is that he will shut up everyone that says “Big man aren’t what they use to be” He is a shot blocking Rebounding Dunking machine very raw but worth the work in my opinion depending on need at the number 1 spot might be the number one pick at Kansas he Avg. A double double with 12.3 pts and 14! 14 reb a game he has been the spot light of ATL ball for a while hanging with atl stars as there is abundance of them out there he is ready for the lights and has the whole city on his back definitely the biggest thing since Josh Smith out of the A
Athleticism: 6’10 strong big hands makes smaller defenders scared…. anymore questions???? Offense: Very Raw good around the basketball more of a put back hustle points guy but if he gets a post move or two he might be elite on this side of the ball one day wont space the floor and will take up room down low Defense: the up side to this kid is he won’t have to work too much on this side of the ball he is a great rim protector enough speed to get from one side of the paint to the other Yunlong SU PF/C 6’11 225 19 China, Shanghai, China
Spoiler
Background: 6’11 from China the International basketball mecca another tall big man from China it when ask can he be as great as Yao Ming or will he be Wang ZhiZhi Sun Yue his responds was “ I am not Yao I am not anyone but me and I plan on doing my best in the NBA” So much pressure on him he has a calm tone and he should he has done great things in Shanghai Sharks one of the biggest teams in all of China Athleticism: He is 6’11 and that is it very slow not much leaping ability but with a Offense game like his who cares really wouldn’t look into too much of his athleticism Offense: He has a great mid range game with a good low block face up game not a banger but can get to the rim with his smooth playing also he is a a plus at the free throw line gets a lot of offense Broads spaces the floor and is a weapon from day 1! Defense: I would say something good about this side of the ball but I can’t he has a lot of work to do to be able to compete with the best big man IT Factor: Maybe- he has the chances to grow into something bigger and better could be the next great thing out of China could be the next thing to come in go from China Desean Reed SG/SF
Spoiler
6’6 193 Kentucky, Bowling Green, Kentucky Background: From small Bowling Green Kentucky in a small county produce two of the best talents in any state Desean Reed grew up three streets away from Raymond Buchanan and they have been going at it ever since 4th grade Desean was always number #2 and consider to be the “lil brother” He hated it made him work hard to get better by High School he grew from 6’2 to 6’6 his freshman yr started Varsity all 4 yrs won First person from Kentucky to be All-State as a freshman and to be honest he owes a the credit to Raymond Buchanan The High School games between them where much watch tv their Sr year game hosted on ESPN Desean Reed had 29 pts 6 threes and 7 ast still ending up losing to “Big Brother” Ray in Kentucky Desean continue and is now looking to be a top 10 pick….so is “Big Brother” Athleticism: He is a quick 6’6 he doesn’t have the arm length he ran a 4.54 and the 40 as a Jr in high school as he was a two sport athlete Enough Said right? Offense: I wouldn’t leave him open Inside scoop “He use to shoot in the dark outside at night with a small light and all you use to hear was the nets shake” Solid inside as a score weakness would be his handles needs a lot of work intill then he will be a catch and shoot score can space the floor Defense: Lacks the Defense Awareness to be a good team defense of a player he can stay in front of defender unless they have good handles maybe too much labiality to start right away but he will do so many good things on Offense IT Factor: Maybe-He could be a great shooter or a great player but how much work he puts in will determined one thing that will always be the same is his emotional style of play and his fire to win Raymond Buchanan SG 6’5 221 20 Louisville, Bowling Green, Kentucky
Spoiler
As mention above High School Rival Desean Reed was his biggest competition Ray knew he was going pro by the age 12 he was 6’2 and grew to 6’5 by his sophomore year of high school after Desean announced that he was going to Kentucky the day after Ray said he would go to Louisville he said his soul reason was to make sure everyone knew that he was the best ever out of Kentucky but along comes Jeremiah Jackson after a disappointing freshman Year he bounced back had a great Sophomore year became great tandem with Jeremiah Jackson but Admits in a interview that “he is still better than Desean Reed and Jeremiah Jackson he will continue to prove it at the next level” Athleticism: He is a High Flying Vertical leaping will dunk on you top of player very quick very very quick and fast the bad thing is this he’s best feature Offense: struggles dribbling through traffic not a great shooter mid range is So-So not horrible but when he does get to the rim he finishes point blank! Defense: his quickness and his vertical help with his defense but again needs work to become an all-around player IT Factor: No - I don’t see it but I wouldn’t be the first reporter to be wrong Tyrone Frazier SF/PF 6’9 233 22 Indiana, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Spoiler
Background: This kid was a 4.0 GPA in high school went to college at Indiana but because of his grades he could have went to Harvard, Yale, or Princeton when ask why not follow the family tradition into Law-school “I want to be challenged and Academics are easy basketball is a world where someone out there is always better then you so my work will never have to stop” His A small state kid and his game shows he puts his head down and gets the job done Indiana really fit him as he was team captain by his Sophomore year not the greatest college player but his leadership should help him on the next level Athleticism: strong and very good leaping ability not much more though at 6’9 he is not long and he doesn’t have the speed to make up for it but a nice leaper and that helps hi a lot Offense: Has a lot to prove people have question his ability to do anything on this side of the ball but in college I seen him time in and time out hit big game shots maybe it means something maybe it doesn’t Defense: A good on ball defender a vocal leader and will probably get 5 to 8 rebounds a game in the NBA IT Factor: No- Doesn’t have what it takes to be a star in this league if he peaks I think him will be a great 1st big man in off the bench Mathew Daniels C 7’1 267 22 Mississippi State, Adamsville, Alabama
Spoiler
Background: You here about how tough Chicago and Parts of New York City Baltimore but Adamsville is just as tough of a place and 7’1 Mat stood out asking about how he handle it he said, “The “thugs” in my neighborhood kept me out of trouble they knew I was going to the league and they wouldn’t let me get involved” It is a good thing because he will be in the NBA but he might be the weakest big man out of the top three
Athleticism: None to speak of none very slow no real vertical Avg. Stamina Offense: Great Offense of glass guy finish around the rim heck can even step out to mid range will not do well in a run and gun offense because how much energy he will use to get up and down the court he will tire fast Defense: Great shot blocker Great Rebounder Great space eater but if they go small he will be as useful as the 2-3 zone in the NBA meaning not very much but man can he bang with Howards and Lopez of the league right away! It Factor-Yes, If he works on his speed and his foot work I believe he can be an un-believable big in this league Everett Smith PF/C 6’10 269 20 Louisville, San Diego, California
Spoiler
Background: This Cali big man has went from soaking up sun to going to Louisville for a chance to win A college Championship he did just that he has been in the spot light from the 8th grade on and it shows in his game he is calm collected and cool when it comes to playing the game Cali has produce some pretty good talent this guy could be the next one he has some past trouble with the law but claims its all past him and he is ready for the NBA Athleticism: Another slow big man but what he lacks in speed he makes up in strength no real vertical but his game isn’t made that he has to be athletic Offense: A killer post fade away a got hook shoot very smooth around the rim and can step out and hit that free throw line jay to space the floor he is fun to watch on this side of the ball Avg. offense rebounder but at 6’10 he will get you a couple of put backs against the smaller teams Defense: He isn’t a great rebounder or has the awareness to put him self in the right position add his non-athletic background he might be a liability on this end IT Factor-NO I think he will be a great role player for a team that already has there front court in line can play both PF/C so if you are looking for a good big man that can score to build with he might be your guy if you have no other options Sheldon Wright PG 6’2 169 21 Germany, Munich, Germany
Spoiler
Background: Sheldon Wright is all business he has been playing professional for a while and when asked if he is nervous about the NBA he said, “I feel like when the game starts its just another game another team and another opportunity to show that I am better then my peers” Very confident man Sheldon is the only child when he was younger it was him and a basketball all day he has been asked if he is the real deal his responds “I am not a rookie I can tell you that I was a rookie when I was 16 I am ready to compete and prove people wrong, ready to answer all the question” Athleticism: He is quick Fast Can Jump Run with anyone not the tallest PG but his long arms make up for it I have never seen this kid get tired at all Offense: He can shot from anywhere on the court good at getting to the rim the thing that might will hurt him is the play style of the NBA is different his vision isn’t that good and his passing sometimes misses the mark but he will put up numbers early he could easily score 20 a night Defense: He is not a smart defense of a player takes to many risk but his athleticism makes up for a lot not a bad on ball defender but any elite PG has to be good on this side of the ball IT Factor-Yes, He is the best scoring PG I have seen since AI but AI could pass and play D and had the smarts he lacks all of that so he has the biggest up side definitely the rawest of the guards Desmond Arthur PF/C 6’11 244 21 Florida, Miami Florida
Spoiler
Background: He has to be the most laid back guy of the draft he went to Florida and as a star player most people still didn’t know who he was on campus at 6’11 you think he would standout but he is more into his artwork and Jazz music he is 21 but I swear the kid is older than me we went to the court to play horse and I seen him do it in games but He was just knocking down three after three I asked him at 6’11 where did he learn how to shoot he said, “All the little guys were doing it I felt the Post wasn’t fun and I love when the crowd went crazy after a three plus its an extra point most 6’11 guys cant get” he said with a smirk on his face by the end of the day my nickname for him was OLDSKOOL with a K Athleticism: Long strides help him up and down the court but he isn’t quick slower than most PF’s but quicker than a lot of C’s has good hands and it helps him rebound but he isn’t that strong so it hinders his rebounding a lot easily pushed around he doesn’t like to be down there Offense: He will make Big man uncomfortable that far from the basketball his 3 ball is silky smooth nice post fade away could be a second weapon if he works on it but he is not your avg. big man so if you are looking for that out of his game on offense you are a bad GM and need to be fired! Defense: Simply put he will be pushed around in the post IT factor-No he could help a team for sure though I don’t think he will ever be a star in this league Mock Draft
