What's the deal with editing shots?

Does anybody else run into the issue where changing somebody's shooting base does nothing to the shot itself? Only shooting form changes. Am I missing something?

Also, why does it look so laggy when they shoot in the roster editor?

Its a known bug. A fix will be incoming at somepoint
